Completion of the Summer Sizzler means we are that much closer to crowning the first ever winner in the Team Zip-Tie Cup. The name of the race this weekend was deceptive, as we had some of the coolest weather we’ve had all season. Saturday was gorgeous and Sunday’s rain was nice enough to stay away.

Saturday’s course was probably one of the most technical I have ever seen in Cumberland, and I couldn’t have been happier. Sunday’s course was a little more of what we’ve been used to – fast and fun.

I do have to say, my favorite part of Sunday was getting to run in the same heat and in the same class against Patrick again. Competition against other classes is fun, but it’s really great to be right up against someone.
